"Your win yesterday was pure luck, you've got no talent." The Ravenclaw seeker's words, although they stung a bit, weren't quite enough to really bother Tally, who knew quite well that Hufflepuff had won their last quidditch match fair and square. Jack, on the other hand, wasn't nearly as calm. Tally gently placed a hand on his shoulder in an attempt to signal to him that she could handle the situation- for now, at least. "So I'm supposed to believe that your poor playing and overall sore loser-ness is my fault?" She asked her competitor in a deadpan tone, rolling her eyes so hard she could practically see her skull. Her response clearly agitated the Ravenclaw, who was huffing and puffing so hard it looked like he was having trouble breathing. "Whatever, Were-bitch," He replied, and in an instant, Tally lifted her hand from Jack's shoulder, not at all caring about restraining him now. A bright flame flared in his eyes as his hands balled into fists, clenched so tight that his knuckles were losing color. The next few minutes were a bit of a blur, but Tally could definitely remember Jack tackling the shit-talker and fighting like his life depended on it.

The pair waltzed out of Headmistress McGonagall's office, with Jack now sporting an impressive black eye and a cut on his left cheek. "You should've seen the other guy," He told a passing second-year, who promptly scurried away. "I can't believe you only got a month of detention, that's unbelievable," Tally remarked, intertwining her fingers with his. "I guess it's just my outstanding charm," Jack replied with a dorky grin. "Still, I thought you were a lover, not a fighter," Tally said as a small smirk made its way onto her face. "Yeah, but I'll fight for what I love," He declared, puffing his chest out with pride. "So I'm.. what you love?" Tally asked, her voice much quieter than before. Jack looked down at her, smiling brightly, then kissed her heavily freckled forehead. "Of course," He said, not hesitating a bit. Tally's face brightened tenfold, and the corners of her mouth spread into a smile so bright it made the sun look dimmer. She stood on her tiptoes and kissed him full on the mouth (quite passionately), then pecked him on the cheek right above his cut when they broke apart. "You're what I love, too."
